Research Scientist, High-level User Support
Together with Thomas Bönisch, Björn Dick coordinates the High-level User Support group at HLRS, which optimizes the resource efficiency of our users’ applications. In particular, he is the organizer of the workshop series on “Optimization of Scaling and Node-level Performance.”
Björn Dick’s scientific interests include resource efficiency of applications in HPC and beyond, particularly node-level performance, the impact of computer architecture, and the overhead of high-level language elements.
Björn Dick holds a diploma from the University of Stuttgart in computer science.
