Research Scientist
Dr.-Ing. Flavio Cesar Cunha Galeazzo joined the High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart in 2019 as a research scientist and since works on several EU projects (e.g. HPCWE, aqua3S, exaFOAM). He studied chemical engineering at the University of São Paulo, with a master’s degree in process engineering from the State University of Campinas, and received his PhD in combustion technology from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2013. His research focuses on the simulation of energy systems with computational fluid dynamics (CFD), including internal combustion engines, oxyfuel systems, biomass combustion, and the modeling of wind turbines and farms.
