The online training courses are a service for the members of the HLRS course mailing list. Only real people working in the area of Scientific Computing, Computational Science or computer based simulation are permitted to membership with their individual email address. Additionally, public research institutions which are a customer of HLRS can also become members by adding the email address of their internal mailing list to the HLRS course mailing list. Usage of the HLRS self-study materials by others is not allowed.
The only purpose of the HLRS self-study courses is learning from the content of the courses. Any other usage (e.g., some form of decompiling, usage as teaching material) requires written consent by HLRS. Please contact training(at)hlrs.de for this purpose.
Permission to use the online courses requires acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of Use on this page.
It is not allowed to pass the password on to others. If you are member of the HLRS course mailing list, you should have received the password in an email titled "Get your access to HLRS online courses". The password cannot be changed by you. If your personal email address becomes invalid, your name will be removed from the list. If your access is provided via the email address of your institute's internal mailing list, you will receive a new password about every six months.
You can unsubscribe from the HLRS course mailing list at any time by replying to one of our course emails with an email with the subject "unsubscribe <your email address used by us>". With this unsubscribe request, your permission to access the HLRS online courses is also canceled.
We value and respect your privacy. By accessing the online courses using your username (=email address) and password, you automatically agree that your email address can be used by HLRS to send you further information regarding future events, which are (co-) performed or (co-) organized by HLRS. In addition, you will have access to the self-study course recordings of former and future courses, which are (co-) performed or (co-) organized by HLRS. We confirm that your email address will not be shared with a third party, nor will it be sold or used for none-HLRS purposes.
